Amenfi East Municipal Assembly Presents 2025–2026 Budget Hearing at Asankrangwa

The Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly, under the leadership of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah, has presented its 2025–2026 budget at the Western Regional budget hearing held in Asankrangwa.
The presentation, made by the Municipal Budget Officer on behalf of the MCE, formed part of the national budget hearing process organized by the Ministry of Finance in collaboration with the Western Regional Coordinating Council. The exercise is aimed at reviewing and validating Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies’ (MMDAs) proposed budgets for the upcoming fiscal year.
In the presentation, the Budget Officer outlined the Assembly’s key priorities for the 2025–2026 fiscal year, focusing on infrastructure development, education, health, agriculture, and local economic empowerment.

He emphasized that the Assembly remains committed to improving road networks, enhancing access to quality education and healthcare, expanding potable water supply, and strengthening Internally Generated Funds (IGF) through digital revenue collection systems.
Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah, in his remarks, reiterated his administration’s vision to promote inclusive and sustainable development across all communities within Amenfi East. He called for continued collaboration among stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the Assembly’s development agenda.
Officials from the Western Regional Coordinating Council commended the Amenfi East Municipal Assembly for its sound fiscal planning and alignment with the Medium-Term Development Policy Framework, urging the Assembly to maintain accountability and transparency in budget execution.
The hearing was attended by officials from various MMDAs,MPs, development partners, civil society representatives, and traditional leaders who shared inputs to enhance local development planning and implementation.
