The 41st Farmers’ Day celebration at Wassa Abrokyire Krobo has been hailed as the most historic ever held in the community, attracting praise from chiefs, residents, and major institutions for the Municipal Chief Executive for Wassa Amenfi East, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah.
Nana Appiah Kwah, Chief of Abrokyire Krobo, commended the MCE for honouring the community with the event, describing it as a moment of pride and unity. As part of the celebration, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah donated a 32-inch television set to the chief and elders, a gesture warmly received.
Corporate bodies also acknowledged the MCE’s leadership. Perseus Mining PLC praised the organization and impact of the celebration, noting that the standard of the event reflected strong coordination and respect for farmers.
Amenfiman Rural Bank added similar commendations, describing the programme as an unprecedented occasion in the history of Wassa Abrokyire Krobo.
The event highlighted the importance of farmers in local development and reinforced strong collaboration between traditional leaders, institutions, and the municipal administration.
