Wassa Saamang Chief Assures Residents of Astro Turf Project
The Chief of Wassa Saamang, Nana Kwame Ampong Akru, has assured his people that the community will soon get a modern astro turf to promote sports and development.
He made this known while speaking with the media at his palace at Wassa Saamang, where a grader was busily reshaping the community park as part of ongoing efforts to improve local infrastructure.
According to the chief, plans are underway to collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Amenfi East Municipal Assembly, to ensure that the dream of an astro turf becomes a reality.
“I will make sure Wassa Saamang gets an astro turf in the coming years,” Nana Kwame Ampong Akru stated, assuring residents of his continuous commitment to the community’s progress.
The Assembly Member for Wassa Saamang, Hon. Yaw Boafo, who was also present, commended the chief for his visionary leadership. He expressed optimism that the park’s facelift is a step toward achieving a fully developed sports facility that will benefit the youth and the entire municipality.
He further pledged to work closely with the Amenfi East Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah (Obi AbediDi), to ensure that the astro turf project receives the needed attention and support.
Residents of Wassa Saamang expressed excitement over the ongoing reshaping works and praised their leaders for taking practical steps toward development.
