OBAATANPA Feed the Schools and Communities Initiative Launched to Support Education and Development

The OBAATANPA Feed the Schools and Communities Initiative, a social impact program led by Madam Angela Ahimah, wife of Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Amenfi East, has been launched to provide vital support to schools and communities in need across the municipality and beyond.

The initiative aims to address challenges of hunger, poverty, and malnutrition among school children and vulnerable families, with a focus on promoting education and community development through feeding programs, mentorship, and empowerment projects.

Speaking during the launch, Madam Angela Ahimah highlighted the urgent need to ensure that children have access to nutritious meals, as hunger continues to affect school attendance and performance in many parts of the country.

> “When a child goes to school hungry, learning becomes a struggle. Through this initiative, we hope to give every child the chance to learn, grow, and dream without limits,” Madam Ahimah stated.

The OBAATANPA Feed the Schools and Communities Initiative has already begun supporting selected schools with meals and food supplies, while also working with local communities to identify families most in need of assistance.

In his remarks, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah commended his wife for her compassion and commitment to social development, describing the initiative as a complement to the government’s efforts to improve education and welfare within the Amenfi East Municipality.

> “As a leader, I believe development begins with people who care. Madam Angela’s initiative represents the spirit of compassion and service we all must embrace,” Hon. Ebbah said.

Community members, teachers, and traditional leaders present at the event praised the OBAATANPA Initiative, calling it a timely and life-changing program for children and families. Many expressed gratitude for the couple’s dedication to improving lives at the grassroots level.

The initiative plans to extend its outreach to more schools and communities in the coming months, encouraging public participation and donations to sustain its impact.

Madam Angela Ahimah further appealed to individuals, corporate bodies, and philanthropists to support the cause.
