Amenfi East Incoming Youth Organizer Cross Carpets to Kennedy Agyapong’s Camp

The internal political dynamics within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Amenfi East have taken a new twist as Mr. Frank Cobbina, the incoming Youth Organizer for the constituency, has officially declared his support for Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.

Mr. Cobbina, who was previously aligned with the camp of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, announced his decision over the weekend, citing Kennedy Agyapong’s strong industrial vision and commitment to youth empowerment as the reason for his defection.

Speaking with tikese3news.com, he explained:

> “I have crossed carpet from Dr. Bawumia’s camp to join Kennedy Agyapong because he is an industrial man who will help the youth get work to do. Our country needs industries, not just promises, and Kennedy is the man who can make that happen.”

He stressed that the future of Ghana’s youth depends on practical policies that will create jobs, reduce unemployment, and strengthen the local economy. According to him, Kennedy Agyapong’s track record in business and entrepreneurship makes him the best candidate to deliver such opportunities.

Mr. Cobbina’s declaration, with many describing it as a bold step that reflects the sentiments of the grassroots youth. Some expressed optimism that Kennedy Agyapong’s leadership would bring about meaningful development in the constituency and beyond.

Mr. Cobbina concluded by urging the youth of Amenfi East and the entire nation to rally behind Kennedy Agyapong in the party’s flagbearer race, emphasizing that the industrial agenda is the surest way to secure a brighter future for young people in Ghana.
