The Akwamuhene of Agogo traditional area who doubles as the founder and leader of Akwamuhene empire, Nana Kwaku Tuuda Dadeako has yesterday November 13 share thousands of sanitary pads to adolescents of Agogo M/A Apostolic JHS according to the agenda Ipad a girl.

according to Madam Aisha Fosuaa, a coordinator of the Akwamuhene empire who spoke on behalf of Nana Kwaku Tuuda Dadeako revealed that, many adolescent ladies absent themselves from school when they reach menstruation.

Due to that, the Akwamuhene for Agogo traditional area has bring an inniciative dubbed “Ipad a girl” meaning thousands of pads will be shared to adolescent girl’s every month across the Municipal to help bridge adolescents education, she added.

Again, Miss Aisha Fosuaa advised that, menstruation is not a taboo hence male students in various schools should desist from uncalled for teasing in classrooms when unfortunately menstrual blood spills out and inked the ladies dresses.

Finally, Madam Aisha elaborated how an adolescent girl should wear the sanitary pad during menstruation to prevent leakage.
