ANNUAL FLOOD CONTROL AT WASA AKROPONG MARKET

The Wasa Amenfi East Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah, popularly known as Obiabedidi, has taken decisive action to end the recurring flooding at the Wasa Akropong Market.

For years, the market has suffered from heavy flooding during the rainy season, destroying goods and disrupting business operations.

To tackle this challenge, the MCE, through the Municipal Assembly, has supervised the construction of new drainage systems within the market to channel rainwater into the main gutters.

This development is expected to permanently address the annual flooding and create a cleaner, safer, and more convenient environment for traders and shoppers.

Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah reaffirmed his commitment to improving infrastructure and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents in the municipality.
