Residents of Wassa Saa and Wassa Abenabena in the Amenfi East Municipality have commended the Municipal Chief Executive, Raymond Nana Ebbah, for his swift response to the deteriorating condition of the road linking the two communities.

For some time, motorists, farmers, traders, students, and other road users had expressed concerns over the poor state of the road, which had made transportation difficult and increased travel time. The damaged sections were affecting the movement of goods and services, especially during periods of heavy rainfall.

Following appeals from residents and community leaders, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah moved quickly to assess the situation and facilitate rehabilitation works on the affected portions of the road. The intervention has brought relief to residents, who say the improvement will enhance transportation, support local economic activities, and improve access to essential services.
Speaking to members of the community, several residents praised the MCE for listening to their concerns and taking prompt action to address the challenge. They described the intervention as a clear demonstration of his commitment to improving infrastructure and promoting development across the municipality.
Community leaders have also expressed gratitude for the government’s attention to the road network, noting that better roads will boost farming activities, facilitate trade, and contribute to the overall growth of the area.
Residents are optimistic that the rehabilitation efforts will continue and help improve connectivity between Wassa Saa, Wassa Abenabena, and neighboring communities, further accelerating development within the Amenfi East Municipality.
“This is the kind of leadership we want to see—leadership that listens and acts swiftly to solve the challenges facing the people,” a resident remarked during the ongoing road improvement works.
The intervention by Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah has been widely welcomed as another significant step toward improving the living conditions of residents and advancing development in the municipality.
