The tragic incident happened at the Triple Lane stretch near the Iron Sheet Factory when a commercial Sprinter bus with registration number GE-6024-22, which was travelling from Accra to Kumasi, was involved in a serious accident.
fatal accident occurred earlier today at about 9:30 a.m. along the Kumasi–Accra Highway at Konongo in the Asante Akim Central Municipality.According to eyewitness reports, the accident claimed the lives of four individuals on the spot, while several other passengers sustained varying degrees of injuries and were rushed to nearby health facilities for medical treatment.
Authorities are yet to determine the exact cause of the accident as investigations continue.
