FIRE RAZES DOWN ABOUT 10 SHOPS AND A CHURCH BUILDING AT KASOA GHANA FLAG

An inferno has razed down about 10 shops, fire Tender and a church building at Kasoa Ghana Flag Junction in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region destroying items worth millions of cedis.

According reports, the fire started around 6pm from a carpentry shop while a welder was  working. The Welder believed to have connected direct power from the meter causing an electrical fault for the meter to explode.

 The fire destroyed a drinking spot, carpentry shop which they deal with wardrobes and furnitures, church building, electrical appliances shop and provision shops.

A fire Tender from Weija which had come to savage the fire ended up catching fire at the fire scene due to over heating.

Two other fire tenders from Kasoa and Dansoman supported to  savage the fire.

Some eyewitnesses who helped the fire service to savaged the fire have been speaking to the media.

The Assemblyman for Joe-Mens-Kpometey electoral area, Hon. Mustapha Ibrahim on his part commended the  fire service for their emergency response preventing the fire from spreading through to houses around.
