OBAATANPA Foundation Donates  Holds Freshers’ Orientation on Health and Wellness at Amenfiman Senior High School

The OBAATANPA Project, led by Madam Angela Ahimah, wife of the Amenfi East Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah, has once again demonstrated its commitment to community welfare and youth empowerment.

On Tuesday, the initiative donated 100 crates of eggs to the Wassa Akropong Government Hospital to support patients’ nutrition and ease the hospital’s food supply burden.

Speaking during the presentation, Madam Angela Ahimah explained that the gesture forms part of the Project’s goal to promote health and wellness in the Amenfi East Municipality.

> “The OBAATANPA   foundation  s about care, compassion, and commitment to community development. We believe good health is a foundation for progress, and this small act is to show our love and appreciation for the dedicated staff and patients of this hospital,” she said.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, Mr. Agbesi Doke, Health Services Administrator, expressed appreciation to Madam Angela and her team for their thoughtful contribution, noting that such support encourages healthcare workers to continue serving the community diligently.

Miss Catherine Ayiah, Head of the ENT Department, also thanked the OBAATANPA Project for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful. She added that the hospital staff were grateful for the continuous support the initiative extends to the facility.

As part of the day’s activities, the team also held a comprehensive orientation session for fresh students of Amenfiman Senior High School, focusing on critical youth-related issues including:

1. Gender-Based Violence and Sexual & Reproductive Health Rights

2. Adolescent Health, Personal Hygiene, and Mental Health — with emphasis on coping with peer pressure, stress, and effective time management

3. School Bullying, Discrimination, and Positive Role Modeling

The session was crowned with an inspiring advice session from Nana Hemaa, who urged the students to take their education seriously and maintain discipline and cleanliness at all times.

> “As young people, your health, behavior, and discipline will determine your future. Respect yourselves, study hard, and make choices that will make your parents and the community proud,” Nana Hemaa advised.

The OBAATANPA Project continues to touch lives across Amenfi East through its ongoing initiatives that promote health, education, and empowerment for sustainable community development.
