Wassa Amenfi Charity Ladies Foundation has donated 80 bags of rice, cooking oil, sardines, and 25 pieces of clothing worth over GH¢10,000 to more than 70 widows, needy individuals, and physically challenged persons at Wassa Agona Amenfi in the Amenfi Central District of the Western Region during this year’s Mothers Day celebration.

The kind gesture brought joy and smiles to many beneficiaries who gathered to receive the items as part of the foundation’s effort to support vulnerable people in society and celebrate mothers in the community.
Speaking during the presentation, Founder of the Wassa Amenfi Charity Ladies Foundation Madam patience Coffie stated that the donation forms part of their commitment to giving hope and support to widows, the less privileged, and persons living with disabilities. They added that mothers play important roles in society and deserve love, care, and support, especially during Mothers Day celebrations.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the foundation for remembering them during the special occasion.

According to madam patience, the items donated would go a long way to support their families and reduce some of their burdens.
Some of the community members also praised the Wassa Amenfi Charity Ladies Foundation for the humanitarian work they continue to do in Wassa Agona Amenfi and surrounding communities, calling on other organizations and individuals to emulate their example by supporting the needy in society.
