The Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly, led by the Municipal Chief Executive *Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah* ( *Obia Bidi* ), has donated food items to the Muslim community in the Amenfi East Constituency ahead of the celebration marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
*The items donated include* :
135 bags of rice
39 bags of sugar
35 cartons of milk
The items will be distributed to *46 Jumu’ah Mosques* across the constituency to support Muslims as they prepare for the *Eid-ul-Fitr* celebration.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Muslim community were the *Chief Imam* , *Imam Sule* , *Sheikh Bilal Dayman* , and other Muslim leaders in the municipality. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the MCE and the Municipal Assembly for the kind gesture and support towards the Muslim community during this sacred period.
The *Muslim leaders* also assured the Assembly of their continuous prayers for peace, unity, and development in Amenfi East and Ghana as a whole.
