Residents of Amenfi East are expressing excitement and appreciation following efforts to secure the long-awaited Amenfi East bypass project, a development many believe will improve transportation, reduce traffic challenges, and boost economic activities within the municipality.
Speaking on the matter, Kofi Nteben praised the Municipal Chief Executive, Raymond Nana Ebbah, for what he described as committed and result-oriented leadership.
According to him, several leaders had spoken about improving the road network in the area over the years, but tangible progress had remained limited until now.
Kofi Nteben stated that the intervention by the MCE demonstrates his determination to bring real development to the people of Amenfi East.
He noted that securing the bypass project is a major achievement that will positively impact traders, drivers, farmers, and residents who rely heavily on the municipality’s road network for their daily activities.
He further emphasized that the bypass is expected to ease movement within the municipality and contribute to faster transportation of goods and services, especially for farming communities whose produce often faces delays due to poor road conditions.
The comments come amid ongoing development initiatives being championed by the MCE since his confirmation as Municipal Chief Executive of Amenfi East.
