A/R: Agogo; Methodist school launches 80yrs anniversary celebrates the legacy of Agogo manhene

The Methodist school at Agogo in the Asante Akyem North Municipal of the Ashanti region in collaboration with Matumi a wobetumi Foundation has today September 27 launched 80 solid years anniversary of beyond excellence education in honour of celebrating the legacy of Agogo manhene, Nana Akuoko Sarpong Kumankuma.

Speaking to Akua Sakyiwaa Munumkum of salt FM, the CEO of Matumi a wobetumi Foundation, Mr Amoako Williams indicated that, when it comes to education, no one dares Nana.

He is a product of Methodist school at Agogo and has pass through many institutions which has led to who he is today.

Because Nana Akuoko Sarpong knows the benefit of being literate, he has given out uncountable acres of land to the Presbyterian church to build kinds of schools.

He aadded that, it is by kind courtesy of Nana Akuoko Sarpong, the Omanhene of Agogo traditional area that we have more than 100 basic schools, two secondary school, training college, nurses training and Presbyterian University Ghana. He needs to be celebrated as the saying goes, “he who grinds smoothly shouldn’t be hindered from dipping in”

Finally, a renowned investor who through Nana Akuoko Sarpong, vass land has been released to also spoke to the media and invited all investors nationwide and across the world to turn to Agogo because the leaders are typical definition of products of peace.
